o Meditation can be a powerful tool in effective life coaching.  It can help you reconnect and refocus your life and energy, relieve stress and help you maintain a peace that you’ve been missing. 

oIn order to be successful you must first learn how to meditate. Luckily there are many resources to help you get started.  An expensive class is not needed, in fact with the help of the internet it is easy to find guided meditation online.

o Be aware of your thoughts:- Start looking around you and seeing the world, stop and feel how you are feeling. Get in tune with YOU. And you do this by stopping a few times during the day and asking yourself…how am I feeling?

oExercise:- I didn’t say run a marathon. Go take a longer walk, get into nature, get on the treadmill for 10 minutes..anything, just MOVE Do something everyday.

oBegin using positive words in your everyday life:- Pick a positive word a day, and use it during the day…do this to start with for a week. Be aware of what you are doing, and by the end of the week you will start feeling more positive.

oSmile:- When you smile at people or at yourself in the mirror, it is very hard to be sad. Do this everyday, make it a habit.

oBe kind and considerate of others. Is there someone you can help across the street or that looks like they have a question. Be aware and ask if you can be of assistance. When we help others, we feel good about ourselves.You feel purpose.

o Life is full of heart ache and people who take away our self confidence, but through daily positive habits and being aware, we can get it back two fold! How many times have you walked away from a conversation feeling like you just got hit in the stomach, or when you have walked into a room full of people.

oLook confident in your dress. Feel good in what your wearing, groom yourself, and present yourself as confident…Yes it really does work. So before you head out, look in the mirror and say, yes, I am looking good, I have put myself together well…so I am feeling confident! Another key to this is saying positive words to yourself everyday.
