About usOur expert coachbuilding facility in East Kilbride was formed in 1983. Since then there has been continuous and significant investment in this division allowing it to expand and grow to serve its customers.

The facility at East Kilbride can fulfil all types of conversion and body-building requirements, with a vast range of bespoke work and products suitable for all customer enquiries.

From SMEs to those operating large fleets of vehicles, our

team of coachbuilding technicians have over 150 years of combined experience.

We have the capacity to take on any project from any location in the UK and will deliver your finished vehicle, wherever you are in the country. We’re fully compliant with type-approved EU legislation and are proud to have been awarded an extension to our current Full European Type Approvals to include the new Ford Transit range. We also have Conformity of Production (CoP) along with ISO 9001.

Custom-made Luton vans and curtain-sided vehiclesVersatile and multi-functional, the Luton’s enclosed box with over cab extension comes in a variety of heights, lengths and weights. Our sidepanel options of glass reinforced plastic (GRP), alloy or lightweight honeycomb panels, together with our extensive selection of accessories (see page 16) allows us to tailor your Luton even further.

Our curtain-sided vans offer further flexibility, with reduced vehicle weights, full length access via the vinyl curtains and various rear loading door options available.

Bespoke dropsides and tippersPopular in alloy, although also available in steel and wood, these bodies can be constructed to order, meeting particular end-user requirements, whether one-off or for large fleets.

Rear- and side-tipping options are available to suit specific requirements. Extended height side capes can be fabricated and fitted to suit.

Individual welfare conversionsNow an essential part of health and safety regulations, we specialise in providing the very best in comfort and care for your workforce.

Starting as a normal panel van, these are converted to include comfortable seating, tables, instant heating and lighting, a sink with hot and cold running water, fridge, microwave and toilet. All surfaces are coated in Speedliner for easy cleaning if required.

Ramps can be fixed or detatchable with under-floor storage to ensure these vehicles are one-man operable. Speedliner, offers protection for van floors, trucks and trailers. It’s also available with Kevlar for added strength, and we can colour-match it at no extra cost. It also protects against bacteria, fungi, mildew and moulds which makes it an attractive product for use in health, local authority and registration vehicles.

Matco Tools UKThe conversion starts as a bare chassis with the aerodynamic deflector and side collars fitted. The box is then constructed ready for the interior fit out. Rigorous quality control is then undertaken and delivered to the customer.

HydrasunAlloy dropside with hydraulic pipe carrier, constructed so the pipe carrier lowers, to stop end users standing on the vehicle bed for health and safety reasons and ease of use.
