Annual Earthquake Festival August – Shake, rattle and roll! It’s our fault and we’re proud of it! This festival commemorates the rise of the City of Winters from a devastating local earthquake in 1892. Join the celebration and dance the night away on Main Street. The mainstage includes favorite “Time Bandits” and the street is lined with food, booths, bounce houses and more! You’ll raise a glass to everything local! Annual Tractor Parade December – A family event you won’t want to miss, this parade is unlike any other! Local farmers decorate their tractors in Holiday lights as they cruise down Main Street to kick off the Holiday’s in style! Take the family to Lake Solano because it has everything for a fun trip – camping, fishing, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, paddleboats and canoe rentals. Go for the day or camp for a week and be sure to take some time to visit Winters. Solano County operates a campground with 83 campsites, of which 36 have water and electric hookups. There are restrooms with flush toilets, sinks and hot showers. The day use area has picnic sites, group picnic facilities, a free boat launch for non-powered vessels, parking, restrooms and a public telephone.
