TRAILSIDEThe Trailside community is centered on its namesake park and elementary school, which give the area its own personality. Local youth sports teams practice on the neighborhood fields next to the trail system, which have gently paved paths great for family bike rides. Residents tend to be full-time and are emotionally invested in their community. Trailside is one of Park City’s newer residential neighborhoods and continues to grow. Homes are modern and functional-based to fit the needs of its residents.

PINEBROOKThe idyllic community of Pinebrook is tucked into a forested canyon west of Park City and contains outdoorsy year-round residents. The neighborhood abounds with public and private trails, allowing residents prime recreational access. At the same time, Pinebrook is still proximate to the freeway, making the area a favorite among commuters. At the base of the development, a new commercial center provides residents with readily accessible dining and retail options. Area parks and recreation centers act as important community focal points in our neighborhoods. In the winter months, visitors and residents can enjoy curling, dog sledding, ice skating, ski events, or snowshoeing.

Park City ProperPark City Proper has seven parks, numerous fields, and is home to both the Park City Marc and Quinn’s Recreation Complex and Ice Arena. Located in the heart of the Park Meadows neighborhood, the Park City MARC is a state-of-the-art facility with a full aquatic center, onsite childcare, multiple indoor tennis courts, fitness classrooms and equipment, and a party room. Other area parks include City Park, Prospector Park, and Rotary Park, which are used year round by locals with canine friends. For winter activities, go cross-country and skate skiing in Round Valley or at White Pine Nordic Center (Rail Trail and Solider Hollow are great, too). Take the ride of your life at Utah Olympic Park, where you can try the luge or bobsled, or simply watch Olympic hopefuls train on the Aerial jumps.

Greater Park City Greater Park City is home to the Basin Recreation Parks and Facilities, which includes six parks including Willow Creek Park, Trailside Park, the Matt Knoop Memorial Park, and the Jeremy Ranch, Ecker Hill, and Trailside fields. Basin Recreation offers hockey, ice skating, curling, and other winter specific programs making it quite the hub of activity in the snowy season.

Summit and Wasatch counties both have excellent public and private school options.

SUMMIT COUNTY SCHOOLSSummit County includes three school districts: Park City, North Summit, and South Summit. The Park City School

District includes four elementary schools (grades K-5); Ecker Hill Middle School (grades 6-7); Treasure Mountain Junior High

(grades 8-9); and Park City High School (grades 10-12).

Additional offerings unique to Park City’s school district include the Park City Learning Center, which offers Park City High School students an interactive setting for core classes, and PCCAPS (Park City School District Center for Advanced Professional Studies), which helps students develop real-world skills in their areas of professional interest.

North Summit School District in Coalville and the South Summit School District in Kamas offer comprehensive public education from Elementary to High School. Neighboring Heber City sits in Wasatch County and has its own family of educational opportunities for residents. Within Heber City’s boundaries there are three elementary schools.
