He was c o n f u s e d , b u t i s s e e m e d h e h a d b e e nw e l l u n t i l t h r e e months e a r l i e r when f a c i a l s w e l l i n g a n d a n k l eo e d e m a a p p e a r e d a n d p e r s i s t e d f o r s e v e r a l w e e k s . He h a d a l s o n o t e do c c a s i o n a l p a l p i t a t i o n s a n d p a i n i n t h e f e e t . He h a d c o n t i n u e d t oa t t e n d c o l l e g e u n t i l t h e m o r n i n g o f h i s a d m i s s i o n . He d e n i e d t a k i n ga l c o h o l e x c e s s i v e l y , b u t l a r g e n u m b e r s o f b e e r b o t t l e s h a d b e e nf o u n d i n h i s room. I t s e e m e d t h a t h i s d i e t wa s monotonous a n dmuch o f i t was c a r b o h y d r a t e .He was r e s t l e s s a n d a g i t a t e d .
