About the MusicThe opera "Jocelyn" is the most famous work of French composer Benjamin Godard (1849-1895). The Berceuse, or lullaby, is a tenor aria from this work. Often excerpted and performed both in concert and on recordings by many famous tenors, it is presented here for solo cello.
