Class Objectives
1. Identify Rules and Regulations associated with living in NSCC Recruit Training facilities.
2. Identify safety and security requirements associated with living in Recruit Training facilities.
3. Understand NSCC policy and BEQ Regulations concerning gender separate berthing in accordance with NSCC Regulations.
4. Identify the requirements for passing Zone Inspections in accordance with NSCC Recruit Training SOPs.

Watchstanding Procedures
• Governed by General & Special Orders
• Two-hour watches from 2200-0500.
• Watch stood in Uniform of the Day.
• Report to Petty Officer of the Watch every 15 minutes.
• Must remain awake and alert!

Barracks Gender Rules
• Members of the opposite sex are NOT allowed in each others berthing compartments or heads!
• All personnel will be fully clothes when leaving billets to walk to head. NO TOWELS!
• Additional rules as prescribed by Company Commander.

Zone Inspection
• Formal – 2 x during week• Informal – Daily• Part of honor company overall
scoring.• Basic Standards:
– Gear Adrift– Improperly Made Racks– General Cleanliness– Contraband
