One of the great things about a newspaper is that it has lots of letters in large print. These letters,

found in ads and headlines, can help you teach your child the alphabet. You will need today’s

newspaper, a scissors and some glue. Look through the headline and ads with your child to fi nd

each letter of the alphabet, in order. As you fi nd each one, clip it out and glue it in this space. When

you are fi nished, hang the collage on the refrigerator where everyone in the family can enjoy the

artwork!
