BEN CRACKNELL LIGHTING DESIGNER Since training at Rose Bruford, Ben’s work as a lighting designer has been seen in the West End, regional theatres and worldwide. West End: All the Fun of the Fair (Garrick); Shout! the 60’s Musical (Arts Theatre); Defending the Caveman (Leicester Square Theatre); Flamenco Flamen’ka (Lyric Theatre); An Audience With the Mafia (Apollo Theatre); Visiting Mr Green (Trafalgar Studios); African Snow (Trafalgar Studios); Dancing in the Streets (Cambridge, Aldwych and Playhouse Theatres). Also on television, the 2006 – 2010 Brits launch shows (ITV); Mindfield (October Films/BBC 3); The 2006 Diesel U Music Awards and One Priceless Night at Café de Paris (Channel 4). He was a resident sound designer at the National Theatre for ten years. He is now a freelance designer working in theatre, live events and the film sectors.
