Located downtown in the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art, the Dynasty Room is a unique setting for any event. Decorated with Chinese antique furnishings, the space is particularly well suited for receptions and parties or small corporate groups and lectures. The room is adjacent to the Belz

Museum of Asian & Judaic Art which boasts a rare collection of exquisite Chinese art, collections of fossils and minerals, and contemporary Judaic Art. Guided tours of the museum are available and are

a perfect accompaniment for any event.

Catering The Belz Museum is happy to recommend approved caterers and will accommodate Tennessee State licensed caterers.

Accommodations The Dynasty Room can seat 40 people for a Luncheon, Tea, or Sit-down Dinner and up to 75 people Theater/Lecture style. Combined with the available Lobby and Entry Hall, the space can accommodate up to 400 people for a reception or cocktail party.

Parking Parking is available in the Tower Garage on the corner of Peabody Place and Second Street. The museum will validate parking tickets for a discounted parking fee.

~ Museum Rental Pricing ~

Morning Meeting Rental (8am – 10am) The Dynasty Room only, may be rented between the hours of 8am and 10 am, Tuesday thru Friday,

for a flat fee of $250. Museum Tours can be purchased separately. A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the morning. $150 Non-refundable Deposit

required.

Workday Rental (10am – 5pm) During daytime hours, Tuesday thru Sunday, the Dynasty Room only, may be rented for a flat fee of

$375. This includes access to the galleries and guided tours can be arranged. A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the day. $150 Non-refundable Deposit required.

Full Day Rental (8am – 5pm)

During full day hours, Tuesday thru Friday, the Dynasty Room only, may be rented for a flat fee of $400. This includes access to the galleries after 10am and guided tours can be arranged.

A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the full day. Set-up between 5 – 9pm evening before. $150 Non-refundable Deposit required.

Evening Rental (5pm – 10pm)

During the evening hours, Tuesday thru Sunday, the Dynasty Room, Lobby, and Entry Hall may be rented for a flat fee of $750. This includes access to the galleries and guided tours can be arranged. Set up for an evening event must be coordinated with staff. The Host of the event will be charged a

security fee of $60.00 for every additional ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10 pm. A maximum of 400 people is allowed during the evening. Set-up after 830am the day of. $250

Non-refundable Deposit required.

~ Catering Options ~

The Belz Museum does not offer catering services; however, we do approve several caterers. A professional caterer is required for any event at the museum that involves food and beverages. All

caterers must be licensed by the state of Tennessee and a copy of their license must be submitted to the museum no less than one week prior to the event.

~ Rental Conditions ~

The deposit MUST be paid to reserve the date; by phone, mail or in person. The balance will be due no later than one week before the start of the event.

Reservation forms can be submitted by mail, fax or in person. The renter is responsible for the set-up, hosting the event and the tear-down at the

end. The Belz Museum will provide amenities as listed and will set up the caterer’s space. The renter will be responsible for getting a caterer who is licensed in the state of TN. The caterer will be responsible for food and drink clean-up and garbage disposal. The

museum will supply garbage cans and liners. There is an additional security fee of $60 for every ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10

pm. There will be NO food or drink allowed in the galleries; Security and Museum Staff will

enforce this. There may be an undercover security guard at your event to help Museum Staff. All municipal sound ordinances will be observed for a DJ or Band. Set up for a Full Day Event can begin the day before after 5pm; if security is required for

that setup, the price will be $60 per hour. For an Evening Event, set up can begin at 830 am the day of the event.

The use of confetti and glitter is strictly forbidden in all decor.

Renter Responsibilities for Rental Event(s) at The Belz Museum are outlined below:

1. The deposit MUST be paid, in person, to reserve the date. The balance will be due no later than one week before the start of the Rental Event.

2. If the Rental Event is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the Renter will still be responsible for the full cost of the Rental Event; Postponements or re-scheduling will be at the discretion of The Belz Museum.

3. The Renter is responsible for the set-up, hosting the event, and the tear-down at the end. The Belz Museum will provide amenities as listed and will set up the Caterer’s space. The Belz Museum does not provide centerpieces or decorations. The use of confetti and glitter is strictly forbidden in all décor.

4. Set-up for a Full Day Event can begin the day before between 5pm and 9pm. Set-up for an Evening Event can begin at 830 am the day of the event. Any other Set-up arrangements will be at the discretion of The Belz Museum and based on available scheduling.

5. If Set-up is done the evening before an event and Security is required for overnight, the price will be $60 per hour. The Renter will be invoiced, and payment must be made before a guard will be assigned the shift.

6. The Renter will be responsible for getting a Caterer who is licensed in the state of Tennessee. Arrangements need to be made to have a copy of the appropriate license to the Belz Museum no later than one week prior to the event.

7. The Caterer will be responsible for food and drink clean-up and garbage disposal. If the Caterer does not meet with The Belz Museum staff prior to the Rental Event, it will be the Renter’s responsibility to convey this information to the Caterer. The Belz Museum will supply garbage cans and liners.

8. For an Evening Event, there is an additional Security fee of $60 for every ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10pm.

9. All municipal sound ordinances will be observed for a DJ or Band; Security and The Belz Museum Staff will enforce this.

10. All stairways, fire halls, and means of emergency egress will remain clear during any Rental Event and allow for emergency evacuation as necessary.

11. There will be NO food or drink allowed in the Belz Museum Galleries; Security and The Belz Museum Staff will enforce this.

12. There may be a plain-clothes Security Guard at your event to help The Belz Museum Staff; this will be no additional charge to the Renter.

13. The Renter will be responsible for leaving the space in the same level of cleanliness as it was found prior to the event; there will be a cleaning fee of $120.00 if Belz Museum Staff is required to clean after your event.
