Telling Your Story As a photojournalist, I think the most memorable pictures from any landmark event in a person’s life are those that are candid, unobtrusively taken, and tell a story. My wedding albums tell those stories. The books are a cohesive package that weave their way through your wedding day. I work hard to see the big events, and the little ones, that make up your special day. My training and experience as a photojournalist gives you an entirely different interpretation from the traditional wedding photographer. I see things going on behind the scenes others don’t. Emotions. Quiet moments. Tender moments. I capture those moments. All Digital Service My extensive experience with digital cameras and printing digital photos allows me to offer you what I consider to be a better alternative to film. I’ll shoot your wedding digitally, edit the best 100 photos, and print those photos at 4x6 size. I’ll produce a CD for you to use as you like. It will have a webpage of photos for you to browse, and high-resolution pho- tos for you to take to the photo lab for enlargements. I can also produce a beautiful hardbound book of your selections of the best photos. These books are of impressive quality and are available at a price much more afforable than a traditional print photo albumn. See my website, www.lavrakas.com, for more wedding galleries. Looking at the options for wedding photos services can be confusing. To explain my fees as simply as possible:

• My Day Rate is $1500. This incudes 8 hours of work, a CD of all the photos for you to browse, and the best 100 photos at 4x6 print size.

• Day Rate hours include pre-wedding preparation (meeting with principals and

discussion of wedding day plan), scoping ceremony and reception location, early arrival on the wedding day, wedding day photography, and delivery of photos.

• No other rate is offered. Additional hours over 8 are billed at $150 per hour.

• If client wants a 75-print iBook, add to the total $150 for the first book, $100 for additional books.

• There is a $500 deposit fee of the Day Rate at time of hire and acceptance of contract. Balance due on receipt of processed photos/book.

• In the event of postponement or cancellation of the wedding, contract deposit fee is non-refundable.

• I take the utmost care with respect to the exposure, development and delivery of the photographs. However, in the event I am unable to comply with the terms of this contract, due to any event or act out of my control, my liability is limited to the return of the deposit.
