PROMPT:Due to the drastic economic status of the United States, Congress has decided to throw out the tax plan, and create a completely new tax plan. Your tax plan needs to fund the military, education, health care, and all of the current programs the government currently provides. In your groups, create a tax plan for the United States.
How will you get your money? Why?
What taxation principles form the model of your plan?
Will this plan help Congressmen get elected/re-elected for office?
Must present plans on chart paper. Speaker will have 2 minutes to sell the plan to the class. At the end of the class period, we will vote on the best proposal.
Grades will be determined based on quality of proposal.
