The 13th Annual AWear Affair Fashion Show Luncheon will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Sinclair Conference Center. AWear Affair is the primary fundraiser for The Noble Circle Project.

This highly anticipated event begins with boutique shopping for unique jewelry, clothing and home décor, and perusing the selection of gift packages to be given to lucky raffle winners. Lunch will feature special dishes that tie into our Alice in Wonderland theme, followed by our spirited fashion show where many of our Noble Circle sisters will strut the runway showing off the latest fashion trends and their effervescent personalities!

In 2015, this one-of-a-kind event sold out as more than 700 family members, friends and other supporters cheered on their favorite Noble Circle models.

The Noble Circle Approach: Heal ing the Whole BeingThe Noble Circle Project offers women with cancer the opportunity to explore complementary healing methods — helping to enhance cancer recovery and achieve significant gains in their overall well-being.

Where the Healing Journey Begins…The Noble Circle program begins with an in-depth weekend retreat focused on teaching:

•Complementary Energy Techniques, such as qigong (“chee-gong”): a form of exercise and healing movement that strengthens our qi, or life energy.

•Nutritional Education: hands-on cooking instructions for preparing nutritious, organic, whole-food meals that can benefit the entire family.

•Peer Support: within the circle of new friends, women can confidentially share stories, helping everyone learn to deal with difficult, emotional and spiritual issues that can accompany a cancer diagnosis.

The retreat center offers a pastoral setting with few distractions from the outside world. Following that, each woman has an opportunity to track her own progress, practice new lifestyle skills, and come together with others through weekly classes.

Thriving Beyond Healing doesn’t stop with the 10-week program. Alumnae members continue to gather each month to share healthy meals, practice qigong and support each other in sustaining healthful lifestyles.
