  • BELATED January 11th February 10th The Hamilton Grange National Memorial, in partnership with the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society, will hold a belated Happy Birthday Hamilton! program since the site was closed on Hamilton’s birthday (January 11th) due to the NPS’ shutdown.

She has spoken on the lives of Alexander and Eliza Hamilton at venues such as Hamilton Grange National Memorial, the Schuyler Mansion, and George Washington University Museum and has been featured on C-SPAN. Her talk will share insights on Alexander Hamilton’s early life in the Caribbean through the ex- amination of a letter that 12-year-old Hamilton wrote to his friend Edward Stevens. This letter, written 250 years ago, is the oldest extant letter written by Hamilton, and contains fascinating pronouncements of his later life. Talk will start at 1:00pm.
