The authorities of Belarus are powerless to manipula- te the media broadcasting from abroad. They are not able to either censor the content prepared by their journalists or to affect the preparation process. Zhanna Litvina – the President of Belarusian Asso- ciation of Journalists: Today there is a great need for political comment journalism, the attempts to answer the question concerning the future of Belarus – this increases the credibility of independent mass infor- mation centers. Regardless the problems faced by RR in Belarus, it meets the expectations of our society – like other independent media. Uladzimir Niaklayeu – the leader of »Tell The Truth« Initiative, a former candidate for presidency of the Republic of Belarus: Until there is dictatorship in Belarus and each objective piece of information is very important– there will be work for independent media here. Uladzimir Arlou – poet, writer, journalist: Radio Racja is a very important factor of life in European/Belarusian borderland.
