Educational Technology ?•I

believe that educational technology is a way for teachers, students, and parents to improve the overall learning environment. Fortunately technology is rapidly changing for the better, and is a tool for everyone to learn information fast and effectively.

Technology I want to use in myclassroom…

•I

would love for my students to be able to use webcams to ask and answer questions. Face to face interaction is important and could be useful for future jobs that use webinars.

•Ipads: easy and very mobile!

•Collaborative note-taking

My vision of the classroom in the future

•All students will have access to Ipad or laptop which they can bring home with them.

•No text books, everything online.

•Classrooms where the desks aren’t the focus of learning. Students can roam about freely and be creative in the way they learn!

A challenge for teaching•F

UNDING! If we work in a place where money isn’t abundant, these online resources are limited.

•Too much reliance on technology:

if students are constantly “googling” something or spellchecking words, then are they really learning? There needs to be a balance!
