BEGINNER JUMPER Skill Level: Beginner Size: SML (UK 8-10): 600g/MED (UK 12-14): 700g/LRG (UK 16) 800g TOFT DK yarn 4mm & 5mm needles FRONT Using 4mm needles cast on 110 (126, 142) sts K all rows until piece measures 50 (54, 56) cm Cast off 30 (38, 46) sts, transfer next 50 sts to holder, cast off last 30 (38, 46) sts. BACK Work as FRONT. Join left shoulder seams. NECK Using 4mm needles K across 50 sts on each holder (100 sts) K for 20 rows, change to 5mm needles and cast off. SLEEVES Using 5mm needles cast on 71sts K for 20 rows, change to 4mm needles Cont K until sleeve measures 45cm FINISHING Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm in stocking stitch using 4mm needles after washing and blocking. Hand-wash, dry flat and block if necessary. Join right shoulder seams and neck seam. Sew sleeve seams. Join sleeve to shoulder with seam downwards. Sew side seams.
