Before we begin:
Let’s remind ourselves of our project:
Your Sculpture You are going to create a sculpture for inside that reminds you of something you admire outside. It should make you feel good, happy or uplifted.
Before we begin:
Look back at your base from last week.Does it need finishing?Remind yourself of what a collage should look like –have a look at the video again.Remember to consider the different textures you want to include.
Watch the short video to remind you of how you could collage your base.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZsjK1jRswg
First of all, make sure your base is completed.
If you haven’t already done so, you can begin to add some 3D features – like the rocks and the grass in the video example.
We will be enhancing our ability to use paper to create art by including some 3D elements we have made using origami.
Do you know what origami is?
Our main focus today is
origami.
Watch this video to get some ideas of how you can include origami in your design.Although we really wanted you to focus on something from nature that makes you feel happy and uplifted, there is something for everyone in here – including the footballers!

That’s right origami is paper-folding.
With your parent’s help you’ll be able to find origami instructions for almost anything. There are some suggestions on the next slide to help you get started.
Try to add at least 2 origami elements to your design.
