Never share mascara, lipstick or any-thing that would touch eyes or mouth. Theatrical makeup is different than street makeup. Theatrical makeup has a heavier and different pigment content and shows up better under lights than regular makeup. Highlights Female Start with highlights down the center of your nose under your eyes along the jaw line on your chin, a small sweeping motion on the temple, and a highlight on the forehead as shown above. *Try to make arching lines not straight ones. Think more flowing.

Lowlights Female Down either side of the nose (towards the center of the nose keep as straight as pos-sible or it will look like a broken nose). Blend down the side of the nose and the under side of the brow keeping the bridge of the nose with a strong edge. Hollows of the cheek, apply an “L” shape blending down and back. Apply low light to right below the nose to mouth (philtrum), right under the lip blend out, top of the chin (keep the bottom side strong) and right under the jaw line blending down through the neck. Sweeping up from the eyebrow and around the crown of the forehead as shown above.

Blush and Lips Female

Blush should be applied to the apples of the cheek sweeping backwards along the cheek bone. If needed, blend down - never up.

Line lips with a similar color to lipstick; then apply lipstick. Apply setting powder as shown above.

Eyes Female

Eye shadow will be determined by character (see the director if you are unsure).

Eyeliner goes from the inside to the outside on the top and 3/4 of the bottom lid. Mas-cara is applied to top and bottom lashes. Eybrows - fill in the natural eyebrow with pencil.As shown above.
