Tales Toolkit: Tell a story Our Supertato story is like a Tales Toolkit story!

Get your baddie character that you designed yesterday. Today, we want you to make up a story about your bad guy: they could be the character or the problem! It’s up to you! You can tell a story in 2 ways today, you can choose how: 1. You can use the Tales Tool kit strip below or draw the Tales Toolkit symbols and use objects to tell your story OR 2. You can use the Tales Toolkit drawing grid below to draw your characters, setting,

One more/One less: Starter: sing along to the Count with Me to 20 song to warm your Maths brain up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0Ajq682yrA Activity: Yesterday we worked out one more/one less in prison! Today, we will work out one more/one less using the ‘prison trucks’ that are taking the naughty toys to prison! Using the yesterday’s one more/one less technique, work out the answer and write down the numbers in the truck: the one less answer goes to the left of the centre number, the one more answer goes to the right of the centre number.

Use the sheet below or draw your own more/less grids.

1. Practice sound flashcards: Watch Miss Barker’s video and say the sounds along with her! Can you say them quicker than her?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsrkW4FjEcw 2.
