Institutions,2009, (hereinafter called the “Regulations”) carefully read and fully

understood the provisions contained in the said Regulations.

2. I have, in particular, perused clause 3 of the Regulations and am aware as to what

constitutes ragging.

3. I have also, in particular, perused clause 7 and clause 9.1 of the Regulations and am fully

aware of the penal and administrative action that is liable to be taken against me in case

I am found guilty of or abetting ragging, actively or passively, or being part of a

conspiracy to promote ragging.

4. I hereby solemnly aver and undertake that

a) I will not indulge in any behavior or act that may be constituted as ragging under

clause 3 of the Regulations

b) I will not participate in or abet or propagate through any act of commission or

omission that may be constituted as ragging under5 clause 3 of the Regulations

5. I hereby affirm that, if found guilty of ragging, I am liable for punishment according to

clause 9.1 of the Regulations, without prejudice to any other criminal action that may be

taken against me under any penal law or any law for the time being in force.

6. I hereby declare that I have not been expelled or debarred from admission in any

institution in the country on account of being found guilty of, abetting or being part of a

conspiracy to promote, ragging; and further affirm that, in case the declaration is found

to be untrue. I am aware that my admission is liable to be cancelled.

This certificate is to be given by a Medical Officer of a District Govt.Hospital or

Superintendent of Medical College/Hospital in the State/Any authorized medical

attendant

NCERT’S Scholarship

(i) All the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students admitted to the

Course will be awarded scholarship of Rs.800/- per month. However,

they should not avail other scholarships from their respective State

Governments or from the Minority Welfare Scholarship-Merit Cum

means Scholarship or the Post Metric Scholarship.

(ii) Full relaxation of tuition fee for all the SC/ST students (for all four

semesters), but other fees will have to be paid.

(iii) Of the remaining students, up to 50% will be awarded the Merit cum

Means Scholarship (Rs.800/- per month) as per rules. Full amount of this

scholarship of Rs.800/- will be given to those students whose annual

family income is Rs.2.5 lakh and below. Students whose annual family

income is above Rs.2.5 lakh will be paid half scholarship i.e. Rs.400/- per

month).

However, 27% of seats of OBCs, 5% of the students of general category

including physically handicapped will be reserved for this scholarship.

(iv) 20% of the remaining students will be awarded free- ship as per rules

Kindly note that:

a. Scholarship will be awarded only to those students who reside in

NERIE Hostel

b. Recent family annual income certificate is to be produced at the time

of admission.

6. Medical Fitness Certificate from a Govt.Medical Practitioner not below the rank of Asst.Surgeon

7. Original Caste Certificate from an Authority empowered to issue such a certificate i.e. Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner or any other REVENUE OFFICER not below the rank of TAHASILDAR in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. Certificate issued by any other person is not acceptable. Candidate claiming reservation under OBC category should produce certificate clearly mentioning Other Backward Caste/Class (OBC) and not belonging to creamy layer.

8. Residential/Nativity Certificate from the competent authority not below the rank of Tahasildar for the candidates coming from the outside region.

9. Original Certificate for physically handicapped candidates issued by the competent authority not below the rank of CHIEF DISTRICT MEDICAL OFFICER is acceptable.

10. Income Certificate of parents from the competent authority not below the rank of TAHASILDAR.

11. Migration Certificate (if any). Students coming from Universities other than NEHU, Shillong should produce the Migration Certificate within one month from the date of their admission.

12. Relieving Order in case the candidate is employed 13. Three recent passport size photographs 14. One set of photocopies of Mark sheets/certificates from High School onwards

including caste/category certificate.

correspondence) It is informed that you have been selected PROVISIONALLY for admission to 2 years B.

Ed Course in this Institute for the year 2019-2021 on the following terms and conditions: 1. You are required to appear in person before the Admission Committee of this Institute on 8th

August, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. You will be required to produce the ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE/DOCUMENTS listed as (a) under column 9 below for verification with one set of their Xerox Copies.

2. The candidates who have secured at least minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination will be considered for admission. The University/Institute from where the candidate has passed his/her qualifying examination should have been recognized by the UGC.

3. If you do not turn up for admission on the above date and time, your provisional selection for admission to above courses will stand cancelled. No request for extension or change in date will be entertained.

4. Please bring the Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Govt.Medical Officer/Authorized Medical Attendant in the proforma enclosed/uploaded on the website of the Institute.

5. If you are finally admitted to the above course, you will have to deposit the following amount immediately on the same day towards Institute and hostel fee: (a) By cash (b) D/D in favour of Principal, NERIE, Umiam

6. Your admission will liable to be cancelled if any of the documents produced by you for

verification is found forged/fake at any later stage or any of the information furnished by you in your application form is found false.

7. Candidates found eligible for grant of scholarship by the Institute will have to stay in the hostel of the institute compulsorily. They will be provided hostel accommodation on priority basis. NOTE: (1) THE SCHEME OF NCERT SCHOLARSHIP IS ENCLOSED

(2) CLASSES WILL BEGIN FROM 20th AUGUST, 2019 AND THE ADMITTED CANDIDATES HAVE TO ATTEND THE CLASSES SUBSEQUENTLY.

8. In hostel, only one cot, one table and one chair will be provided to the candidate. Candidate will have to arrange for rest of the essential items, e.g. bucket, bedding, water jug etc. at their own. 9. For verification, please bring the following documents in Original and one set of their Xerox copies: a) CEE Score Card b) Original Certificate/Diplomas/ Degrees – High School onwards (Provisional Certificate must be produced in case original is not available) c) Mark sheet of each year/semester of Graduation/Post Graduation Examination d) Document relating to your state of Domicile, e.g. Certificate of the Employer on the Basis of which admission has been sought under that state quota (e) Caste/category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH). In respect of OBC certificate, it should clearly mention in the certificate that the candidate does not come under Creamy Layer (f) Transfer certificate and Character certificate issued by the last Institute/College where the candidate has studies g) Certificate of total yearly income of the family for the year 2019-2020. h) Three number of passport size photographs of the candidate i) If the candidate is willing to stay in the Institute’s hostel, he/she should bring two number of passport size photographs of his/her father/mother j) Undertakings of the candidate himself as well as his/her father/mother separately on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.20/- in connection with anti-ragging in prescribe form enclosed/uploaded on the website of the Institute k) Original Migration Certificate from the last Institute/college/University where the candidate has studies l) Medical fitness certificate from a Govt.
