FOOD WAGON EVENTS All food wagon events for the year have been cancelled.

THURSDAY MORNING LADIES PRAYER GROUP The ladies are resuming their study of Book of Revelations on Thursday mornings at 9am in the SN Parish Center. Ladies of both parishes and beyond are welcome to attend.

ST. NICHOLAS PICNIC The decision has been made to host a drive-thru/carryout chicken dinner in lieu of our traditional picnic on Sunday, August 16. There may be an option to eat dinner under a tent. All the details are not worked out as of yet. A sign-up sheet on the I-Volunteer will be available in the upcoming days to sign up if you would like to help in some capacity to support this important parish fundraiser.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE ARCHBISHOP The Archbishop, along with the priest personnel board, have decided to reconfigure our parishes again. Beginning September 9, St. Anthony Parish will be coupled with St. Louis Parish, Batesville. Those two parishes will begin a partnership together and Fr. Stan Pondo will serve as pastor of both parishes. Beginning the same day, St. Nicholas Parish will begin to be linked with St. Charles Parish, Milan. Fr. Whittington will remain as pastor of St. Nicholas, while serving as sacramental minister to St. Charles, Milan. This has come as a huge surprise to everyone! We understand that there will be many unanswered questions initially, but please be patient as we sift through the details. Fr. Whittington is currently on a a two-week vacation to rest, pray and think about how to move forward. Let us grant him that time to freely do so. He will return to the parishes on July 18.
