The majority of people going into beauty training have no previous experience in the beauty industry. Our courses are suitable for total beginners , we teach in very small groups (max.6) enabling us to give you personal tuition in a small, relaxed and friendly environment. You will be taught by qualified, experienced tutors, who have been in the industry for many years. We provide complimentary light lunch along with refreshments, as we tend to study all day in order to complete the intensive syllabus. There is also ample free parking. Following our short intensive courses you will be awarded The Beauty & Holistic Academy Certificate. This will enable you to obtain insurance and start your own business. Our Certificates are recognised by The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and Professional Beauty Direct, which you can join and obtain your insurance. We also offer various VTCT QUALIFICATIONS . These qualifications require more home study, completing a Portfolio of Case Studies and Assignments, along with practical Assessments at the Academy and theory exams. VTCT is a highly regarded Examining Body within the Beauty Industry and offer International Qualifications which gives the therapist greater credibility both with employers and clients. We offer various courses as listed in the Syllabus, and hold courses during the week and Saturday,(subject to availability) We are very flexible and will try to organize dates around you if set dates are not suitable .You are required to wear correct salon uniform during your training. INTRODUCING VTCT COURSES / QUALIFICATIONS

VTCT ( Vocational Training Charitable Trust ) is one of the leading examining boards in the Beauty Industry. They offer International Qualifications known as :- IHBC - International Health & Beauty Council IIHHT - International Institute of Health & Holistic Therapies Training establishments providing these qualifications are governed and regularly inspected to ensure quality training, qualifications of tutors, adequate equipment and premises etc. Both the above qualifications are well regarded within the Industry and are recognised by potential employers worldwide. Students wishing to achieve VTCT qualifications will be given both written and practical assignments and case studies ( portfolio ) to complete at home following initial training. These courses are very intense and require a lot of home study and dedication to the work. You will be shown how to build a Portfolio - this is a file containing all your written and practical assignments plus any other relevant information to the course you are studying. This will include all underpinning knowledge that is required. There will also be internal practical assessment/s and theory multiple choice exam papers. Portfolio work , case studies and any other compulsory modules/units will be covered on your first day. You will be shown how to keep your portfolio work up to date You will be required to return for first Assessment approximately 12 weeks after initial training, but this time is negotiable You are also required to contact the centre every 4 weeks to keep us posted as to how you are getting on and if you are having any problems. This can be done either via telephone , e-mail or personal tutorial.
