A Commitment to BE ProgressiveThe best ideas are born when we are faced with adversity. So, even in the wake of the current situation, we have continued to break boundaries. Our recent virtual VBOS training session, for example, had a record-breaking turnout of 5,000 people. Using this next-generation format of training, we achieved another record-breaking feat with our VBAS session, which had more than 1,000 participants. Similarly, there was also a record number of participants at our Zoom BE Together, with 2,000 people tuning in for the online meet-up on 1st and 2nd April.

Using Zoom meetings, we will continue to deliver training to proactively drive your growth and upskilling so you’re ready to seize opportunities when the time comes. Mario is a man with a plan. Anyone talking to him will be immediately struck by his drive and undivided focus to achieve his goal. What’s more impressive is that his goal was conceived in his childhood.

Plan A – climbing the corporate ladder Mario and his family never had their own place to call home. All these years, they had been staying at his grandmother's. When Mario was 22 years old, yearned for a better future, his mother decided to work in Sweden. The separation from his mother became the driving force for Mario’s plan and goal – to earn a good income so that his mother could return to Malaysia and live with him in their own house.

Climbing the corporate ladder was the way to achieve his goal, so after graduating at 21, he started working as an officer in an international bank. Within 5 years, he became the marketing manager. "My last net pay was around RM2700. The increment was too little. I knew I couldn’t achieve my goal by climbing the corporate ladder

Plan BE – Share the success “My plan now is to help more people regain health and beauty, and change their lives. I trust BE founders and my uplines, and I am confident in achieving success at BE,” he asserted.

Focused and determined, Mario is working at breakneck speed. “I fly all over to conduct home parties,” he shared. “There have been times when I woke up and forgot where I was. If someone tells you that you can make a good income and enjoy time freedom immediately in the MLM business, he’s lying.

“No, you have to slog very hard but it’s just in the initial period, and you’ll see the results in 1-2 years’ time. I make at least 6-7 appointments daily and leverage FB Live and online closed groups to build the team momentum.”

Today, Mario is enjoying time flexibility and making investments for more passive income. No more worries about paying debts. Does luck play a part in his success? He replied, “The harder you work, the luckier you get.”

Plan B – MLM to expedite success When Mario got involved in the MLM business 10 years ago, friends and relatives avoided him. Initially, he felt embarrassed and thought he had made a mistake in joining MLM. This changed after he saw how an “ordinary aunty” who spoke only Cantonese achieved success in MLM. He thought, “Why should I be embarrassed with MLM? I should be embarrassed about my ‘poverty’ – no car, no house.”

Mario plunged into his business, sacrificing all his leisure activities to meet prospects and expand his network. “MLM offers the best career in this century. You put in 3 to 5 years of hard work to achieve what normally takes 30 to 50 years to achieve. Since MLM is about duplication, it builds a passive and sustainable income. That’s why I worked very hard for the first few years. I gave up my leisure activities but now, I’m enjoying what I’ve sowed.”

When he was young, Jet dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur who can travel around the world for his business. In reality, he has achieved this dream in BE. However, he has learned that true success is not just about money but about changing people’s lives.

During interview, Siow Mei said, “My dream was to work as an electronics engineer in Japan. I wanted to design products that benefit people.” Today, she’s found an even better way to benefit people – through BE.

Nothing but work Jet and his wife Siow Mei were respectable engineers who were earning good income.

“I was a workaholic, easily hitting 100 hours OT a month,” Siow Mei laughed when recalling her 3 years’ life as an R&D engineer. Taught to “mind her own business” by her parents, she was absorbed in her world of work, with few friends and little realisation of her many health issues.

Meanwhile, Jet was burned out with his tedious management work. A telecommunication engineer, he started as a technical staff in his uncle’s company and slogged his way up to become a director in 10 years. “I was earning 5-figure income, but the work pressure was immense. All I did was work,” he shuddered.

Working towards freedom The couple’s lives transformed after they saw the potential of the MLM business to give them better health, better income and more freedom. They took the bold leap from their comfortable jobs to MLM, despite being introverts. Siow Mei chuckled as she recalled how their personalities were deemed “not fit” for MLM. “Of course. I had few friends as I was always minding my own business!”

Nevertheless, the couple were determined to succeed. To begin, they needed to work on their weakness – expanding their social circle. “How to make new friends? It begins with a simple smile. From there, I start to engage in simple conversations. It doesn’t mean I’ll talk about MLM every time, but the point is to make more friends,” Siow Mei shared.

From small steps, the couple’s journey has rocketed to their current position. They attribute their success to the “fair and transparent system in BE that rewards every effort, regardless of your background, academic qualifications, family, etc.”

“I can’t apply what I have learned in direct selling to my corporate job because they are two totally different systems. In the corporate world, there is a hierarchy, and your position is determined by your academic background and experiences, not to mention the office politics,” Jet pointed out.

BE – Changing lives Through BE, the couple has learned that MLM is not only about earning high incomes but changing people’s destiny by transforming them into better people. “When we meet people from all walks of life, that broadens our perspectives and we progress through continuous learning,” Siow Mei explained.

“We have made BE our life-long career. We are one family working on one great cause for life,” the couple enthused.

TY laughed when he recalled how he started his BE journey. “I struggled hard as I had no idea how to even sell Aulora Pants. They look like any ordinary black leggings you can get in the night market. But the price is obviously not a night market price!”

Yet, today, TY is the fastest promoted RCCA and the only RCCA to achieve Top 1 Ambassador Producer consecutively for the 1st cycle, 2nd cycle and 3rd cycle, “and, I think the 4th cycle should be my group too,” he beamed.

firm, he lost his work-life balance, had no social life and suffered poor health due to the stress. “I was desperate for friends, dying to talk to people. In reality, working in a law firm was far from the glamourous life portrayed on TV,” he exclaimed.

They say money cannot buy happiness, but without money, TY would have to continue his hectic, miserable life in the law firm. So what was the alternative? “I thought if BE could give me a balanced life if I invested 3 years of hard work, I would work my butt off in BE,” TY shared.

Legally miserableA career in the MLM industry was never in TY’s list of career choices. “Because of the TV shows I watched during my youth, I wanted to become a rich and famous lawyer.” So, upon obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, TY returned to Malaysia and joined one of the top law firms. “I worked hard and working overtime was the norm. My computer was my loyal companion and I had no social life at all.”

Happiness at last To catapult his success, TY attended BE’s many motivation events and learned from successful people. Gradually, he became confident. “Before, I used to envy successful businessmen but now, I can look them in the eyes, and boldly ask them, ‘why don’t you join me in BE?’,” he said.

TY worked as hard to build his BE business as he did in the law firm, and saw 10 times more results! This inspired him to dream bigger. “Now, my goal is to achieve financial abundance. The only way I can do this is to ensure my downlines achieve financial abundance too. This is the beauty of BE. I have to help others if I want to succeed.”

“If you think your locally-made car is good enough, wait till you test drive a Mercedes. I didn’t care much about cars. I loved my Myvi because it’s easy to park and maintenance was low. But after driving a Mercedes, I know the huge difference. It’s good to be contented, but it’s better to dream big,” concluded TY, who now has countless friends, a healthy body and a fulfilling career in BE.
