Chalging via the USB cable1. Plug the USB end of the charging cable into your computer's u58 port.2. Plug the mini USB end ofthe charging cable into the charging port located on the side ofthe BCX-300.3. Your computer must be turned on for charging to occur4. While charging, the RED LED light wil l turn 0N and wil l remain l it unti l the BCX-300 is fully charged.5. The RED LED light will turn oFF when charging is complete.6. lt takes approximately 3 hours to charge a fully depleted battery

Charging via the Car Chargel1. Plug the car charger into the DC port of youf vehicle.2. Plug the mini USB end of the car charger into the charging port located on the side of the BCX'300,3. Your vehicle must be turned on for charging to occur4. While chargjng, the RED LED light wil l turn on and wil l remain l it unti l the BCX-300 is fully charged.5. The RED LED light will turn 0FF when charging is complete.6. lt takes approximately 3 hours to charge a fully depleted battery,

Low Battery Indi(ationWhen the battery is nearly depleted in either active or standby mode, the BCX-300 will beep once every 30 seconds and theRED LED light will flash once every 4 seconds.

Pairing the BCX-300The BCX-300 car kit works with Bluetooth' enabled devices. Before pairing your BCX'300 for the first time, make sure thatyour mobile phone is Bluetooth' capable and the Bluetooth " features are enabled. Pairing is only required the iirst time youus the BCX-300 with your mobile phone. The hands-free car kit pairing procedure will vary depending upon on the modei o1your mobile phone. Please refer to the user guide of your mobile phone for more detai/ed pairing instructions.

1. [,4ake sure that your BCX-300 is ofi (The LED indicator should not be flashinq).2. Place the BCX-300 withil a meter/3 feet awav lror voL. robile ohone.3. Activate Vour mobile Dhone's Bluetooth' function.4. There are two types of BCX-300 paring modes:

A. Manual pairing mode. Press and hold the O (powe0 button for approximately 7 or 8 seconds until the

BLUE and RED LED lighrs flash alternarely.B. Auto pairing mode (Easy pairing)

. Press and hold the (j) (Power) button for 2-3 seconds to turn the BCX-300 on.

. When the BCX-300 is turned on for the first time, it will automatically try the auto{econnect function.The auto-reconnect function will fail, but the BCX-300 will be placed in pairing mode and the BLUE and REDIED lights wili alternately flash rapidly.

5. Set your mobile phone to search for all available Eluetooth' devices.6. When searching is complete, select BCX 300 from the list of devices shown.7. Enter the passkey '0000" (Four zeros) ro pair the BCX-300 with your mobile phone.8. When paring is succe$ful, the BCX-300 wil l emit a short "beep" sound twice rapidly and then the BLUE LED light wil l f lash

once every 10 seconds.9 on(e the BcX-300 is registered and paired with a Bluetooth" enabled mobile phone, it will remain in the paired status

unless the BCX-300 is deleted from the mobile phone, turned off, or out of the operation range (1 0 meters or 33 feet fromthe mobile ohone).

Tulning the 8cx-300 0NTo turn the BCX-300 on, press and hold the O (power) button for 2_3 seconds,The BCX-300 will emit a small tone and the BLUE IED light will flash 3 times rapidly.

Tuming th€ BCX-300 OFFTo turn the BcX-300 off, press and hold the (, {power) button for at least 5 stronds.while holding the button, the Bcx-300 will be€p 3 times and the Bcx-3oo will emit a small tone every 1.5 secondslhe RED LED light will glow for 2 seconds and then turn off.

Answering a 6lll .When you have an incoming call, you wil l hear ringing through the BCX-300 speakel2. Briefly press the a(Call) button, the + (Volume up) button, or the - (Volume down) button 1 time to accept the cll.

Ending a call1. Briefly press the a(Call)buuon to terminate the @ll.

Last number redialing1. Press the

^ (call) button for 2-3 seconds untjl you hear two beeps from the BCX-300 speaker This will activate the last

number redial feature,2. Your mobil€ phone screen should show the last number you dialed.3. Select the last number for redial on your mobile phone and press the a(Call) button briefly to make a cll.

Voice dialing1. lfyour mobile phone is equipped with a standard voice dialing function, you can activate voice dialing.2. Briefly press the^ (Call) button until you hear I beep from the 8CX-300.3. Clearly say the name ofthe number you wish to dial or the name of the person you wish to cail.4. For better voice dialing performance, we recommend that you record the voice tag in your mobile phone.

Adjusting the volumel. Press the + (Volume up) or - (Volume down) button to increase or decrease the speakervolume.2.lhe BCX-300 has eight volume levels

call waitingL You may answer a second call without hanging up the first call by pre$ing the

^ (Call) button for 2-3 seconds.

2. To return to the first call, pre$ the a (Call) button for 2-3 seconds again.3. Pre$ the A {Call} bunon to end both calls at once.

Reiecting a call1. lf you do not wish to answer an incoming call, press the A (Call) button for 2-3 seconds.

Auto-reconnectingLThe 8CX-300 and your mobile phone will disconnect when the distance between them is 33 feevl0 meters or greater

This means they are out of range of each other2. When the distance between tlre BCX-300 and your mobile phone decreases or they are within range of each other, the

BCX-300 and the mobile phone will auto{econnect.

NOTE: Auto-re(onnection must occur within l4 hours. After 14 hours (850 minutes) out of operation rdnge, the BCX-3OOwill autonatically tJrn off. From the moment the BCX-300 and your mobile phone are out of operation range, the BCX-300will seek your mobile phone and wil l emit signalsto reconnect with your mobile phone.The BCX-300 emits rhe siqnal 100rimes at 2-minute interyals (200 minutes) and then 1 50 times at d m;nute 20 second rnteruals (650 minutes).
