Project Scope Qualite (a manufacture and distributor of Sports Area Lighting systems) approached Common Sense Engineering (CSE) and asked if they would have interest in the development of a new line of sports lighting for Qualite’s product line. Qualite wanted to set themselves apart from the competition, so CSE in turn asked Bazza Design to take a look at creating a new design that will explore and expand the boundaries of what a LED lighting system could be over and above existing systems on the market.

To do this Bazza Design (in conjunction with CSE) employed their 4 phased approach to developing new and novel concepts/ideas for Qualite as it pertains to replacing the LED system they currently manufacture and rep.

The scope of exploration will include the following phases: Research Concept Development Concept Refinement Design Release

Additional Support in creation of photo realistic renderings and brochure development was asked of Bazza Design for the launch of the new, revolutionary design.

Research Phase - Results

What we can apply to the Concept Development Phase:

• The competition is dominated with round shaped designs

• Related designs have various shapes and forms (not just round)

• Modularity is a theme to consider for some concepts

• Consider universal joints and intentional Heat Sink forms
