Open warfare between Al Capone's gang and the rival Dion O'Banion's gang spread

throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Most of Capone's profits came from distributing beer

    illegally during Prohibition.

  • MATCH DIRECTOR’S WELCOME

    Shooters,

Welcome to the 2019 9 th

annual Liberty Match at Valley Forge! We have put together 13 stages that will

test every aspect of your shooting skills! I hope you find the stages fun and challenging.

Our sponsors have donated some prizes for this match! Please take a moment to thank our generous

sponsors and please keep them in mind for your next purchase! Sponsors are hard to get on board with the

current sales environment so let us all cherish the ones that help. Support the businesses that support our

sport! Like them on FACEBOOK. It helps us all.

We have great staff and safety officers for this match! Please take an opportunity to thank them, as

without their efforts this match would not be possible.

A note about the rules and social media / gossip. We are running this match by the official rule book found

on line. We will not allow range lawyers or gray area disputes. Remember why we all joined this sport for

the enjoyment of the game, friendship of fellow shooters, and bragging rights for your outcome. Please

shoot the stages as described. Be assured the stages will be presented the same to all, and scored and

judged the same by our fair and hard working SO’s. Our intention is to have a good day and fun times to

share in safety with each other in our sport of choice, and to hold dear our 2 nd

    amendment rights to train.

Please visit website Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge and the National Congressional Medal of

Honor Grove. Learn more about them.

I hope you enjoy the match and I look forward to seeing you all!

Lower Providence Rod & Gun Club is a Cold Range. Guns are to be loaded only on the firing

line under the direct supervision of a Safety Officer. Guns are to be unloaded and holstered,

when off the line, unless in a Safety Area. All Safety Areas are clearly marked.

Your car IS NOT a Safety Area. Gun handling at your car is prohibited and will result in a

    Match DQ.

Eye protection and ear protection are required to be worn by everyone while on the range.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

Match Scoring: If you have a question regarding your posted score, recheck your score sheet. If

you still think there is a problem, contact the Match Director. We will do everything humanly

possible to avoid errors, but YOU are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of your score.

Scores are sent email after each stage via Practice score.

Chrono: We are using an independent Chrono team; you will get your results emailed during the

match to you. It is your responsibility to make sure your ammo meets requirement for power

factor for your gun and Division! Read rules section 8.3.2

Results: The final match results will be published to idpa.com, and practiscore.com. We will

make every attempt to have daily updates posted at the conclusion of each day.

Lost Brass: As a matter of efficiency, all brass collected from the range is deposited in the

designated range pail. Brass is distributed to the range officers at the conclusion of the match in

    consideration for their hard work.

Prizes: All prizes will be auctioned by ticket, randomly selected and be distributed during

Lunch. If you win a firearm you must make arrangements to pick it up in 90 days. The

Thompson M1 is being used as pickup gun- back up and may have a few rounds through it.

Lunch: Will be provided to all shooters in the clubhouse. Lunch is being sponsored by

Valley Forge Military Academy & College

Shooting Schedule: We will be running a full day format with squads on Saturday and Sunday.
