Our sauces are High Quality and most are Homemade. If you would like extra, we must ask for a little extra change. It all started in 1979 as a bachelor with Joe Namath and Richard Todd in a restaurant called “Bachelors Three” located in Ft. Lauderdale FL. While still playing for the Miami Dolphins, it was in this partnership that a passion for the hospitality business was developed. After being introduced to buffalo style chicken wings by a Miami Dolphin teammate at a little restaurant called Wings & Things, I, with the help of Wings & Things owner Eddie Hauck and a high school buddy named Phillip Weaver, was the first to introduce buffalo style chicken wings to the state of Alabama. We brought Wings & Things from Ft. Lauderdale Florida to Tuscaloosa Alabama in 1981. After retirement from the Miami Dolphins in 1988 the hospitality business became a full time career. With the help of my future wife Leslie, a nutritionist, we opened a counter service concept called “Wings and Whiskers” that specialized in Alabama Catfish and Buffalo Style chicken wings. The rest is history. This menu pays homage to the past 35 years. Providing you with great experiences and fresh high quality food is and always has been our number 1 priority.
