The rugged two blade model is ready to tackle all your brush and trees up to 2” in diameter while the 4 blade model with its open-mouth design and brush bar are ready to tackle brush up to 3” in diameter and can fell trees up to 10” in diameter. Additionally, the available disc mulcher model is a heavy-duty rotary brush mower designed to effi ciently destroy dense vegetation and features a 1” thick steel rotor and industry-leading bent axis piston motors.

Taking back your property can be a rough job. We designed and built the

deck as a solid platform to take on the task. Built from rugged 1/4 inch

steel and then further reinforced with support channels it’s a solid base of

operations.

Designed for easy serviceability the 4-way models feature a heavy duty rotor

with 4 fixed extensions. Each extension is finished off with a slasher blade.

This configuration is capable of providing up to 52 slashes per second.

A heavy duty chain curtain reduces discharge of debris. Unlike traditional

chain curtains Baumalight’s Brush Cutt utilizes a curtain rod setup that is

free of welds. This setup allows the chain to absorb the impacts and places

less strain on the welded link for longer curtain life.

To protect the output shaft from impact or contamination caused by debris, each model of Brush Cutt is fi nished off with a heavy duty output shaft shield.

Using a 3/4” top plate and a 3/8” bottom plate this heavy duty rotor sandwiches the 4-way blade assembly in place.

The Brush Cutt uses a bevel gearbox capable of handling up to 90HP for fi nal drive output. More durable than conventional direct drive setups these gearboxes prevent shocks from cutting being passed to the drive motor.

The curved cutting tips of the slasher blades give the Brush Cutt four cuts per pass of each blade. The leading tip takes a small bite and is immediately followed by the second tip taking another bite. These hungry blades chew into the brush at rates from 26- 52 slashes per second with devastating results.

Gear BoxStandard on all Brush Cutt models is a relief valve. Set at 3000 psi this valve disengages the driveline if the hydraulic system pressure is too great protecting both the skidsteer and the Brush Cutt.


The angled skid-steer mount allows the operator to tilt back and lift the front of the Brush Cutt to gain height while attacking higher or denser brush. This keeps the back edge down protecting the skid-steer and operator from debris.

Standard on all Brush Cutt models is Hose Armour. This is a tough wrap which coils around the hoses and protects them from the harsh environment of brush cutting. The armour helps to prevent any punctures from fallen brush or trees.

With extra bracing to help control the large brush material, the CSC760 model will bend taller brush and destroy it. Bar can be removed for smaller skid steers.

Designed to handle the punishment, these heavy-duty teeth holders resist bending and keep you on the path of destruction longer.

Baumalight gives you the option to change out the ripper teeth for the planer style for a sharper bite with a smoother cut, but these teeth are more vulnerable to damage from rocks. Ripper teeth handle rocks much better, so Planer teeth are only recommended for cutting applications where effi ciency is more important than tooth life.

Carburized alloy steel shafts are standard measuring 2.95” in diameter at the bearings and weighing substantial 104 lbs. Built with high quality double-lip oil seals and using an ISO class external bearing locknut system.

The optional 500 Series planner style teeth provide the most effi cient cutting by smoothly chipping away at the brush. If a fi ner mulch is desired, the 500 Series is a great choice.

Unique to the 700 Series teeth is the Cup and Cone mount, which is machined into the holder and forged into the teeth. Engineered to take all the strain off the mounting bolt and eliminating shearing forces, these carbide teeth are bolted in place.

Extra traction from anti-slip strips provides improved

safety as well as ease of entry and exit from the cab.

Avoids jamming by using a 3 stepped plate design. The

area enlargers in the flow of direction so you can concen-

trate on the cut and not worry about bogging down.

Most teeth on the CSC760 can be tightened with an

air impact drill. The bolt-on design allows for the simply

servicing right in the field.

Heavy duty frame with T1 alloy tool steel sheet metal for

all the main areas. Powder coated frame with multiple

anti-slip pads to give you secure footing for ease of entry

and exit from your cab.
