Batavia Air (PT. Metro Batavia) is an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The airline was established in 2001 and started operations in January 2002.

Originally known as P.T. Metro Batavia

Its main base is Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta.

Batavia Air is listed in category 1 by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority

for airline safety quality

Batavia Air currently operates more than 170 flights daily,

Its vast networks cover 47 cities across Indonesia and

international territories

BTV operates domestic flights to around 41 destinations and

international services to Singapore, China , Malaysia and Saudi

Arabia soon flying to Australia .

Since June 2010 the airline has been taken off the list of banned

carriers from flying into EU airspace.

Batavia Air Fleet consist of Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-400,

Airbus 319, Airbus 320, and Airbus 330.

The new flight to the holy land of Muslims is great achievement

of Batavia Air and in expanding its international routes

Batavia Air has launched its initial flight from JKT-JED, on

Sunday, 23rd May ,10 with its wide body Airbus 330-200.

Batavia Air flies nonstop from JED-JKT 5 time a week and

RUH-JKT via JED 2 (twice) a week on Mon ,Wed (effective

28th Oct ‘10 BTV will fly direct RUH to JKT)
