 Musicianship:    

1. Tune  their  instrument  to  their  teacher’s  instrument  (except  strings,  piano,  percussion,  voice)  

2. Sing  a  Perfect  5th  or  a  Perfect  4th  from  a  starting  note  given  on  the  piano  

 *A  Perfect  5th  is  an  interval  that  is  five  notes  away  from  a  given  note  (Count  the  first  note  as  1  when  counting  up)  

 E.g.  a  perfect  5th  from  C  would  be  G

3. Sing  back  a  three  note  motif  played  three  times  on  the  piano  within  a  comfortable  vocal  range    

4. Read  an  eight  beat  rhythm  using  correct  rhythm  names.  Note  values:  as  for  white  with  the  addition  of  paired  quavers
