Zig Zags•For: Improving dribbling skills and defending on the ball•With a partner, practice dribbling up the court. • One person plays defense and is working to force the dribbler to change directions•The dribbler is following a zig zag pathway, making the defender work harder to beat him/her to the spot

Three-Player Weave•For: Improving lead passes and fitness level

•Three players start on the baseline, one person by each side line and one under the hoop

•The player under the hoop passes to one side then follows the pass to cut behind their teammate

•The teammate receiving the ball passes to the third teammate then cuts behind him/her

•This pattern is repeated all the up the court

•When a player receives the ball around the elbow of the foul line, he/she dribbles in for a lay-up

•No fouling is allowed during this drill

•Practice Practice Practice
