Here is a film promoting magazine

know as empire total film magazine. As

seen the masthead is generally large

and take up a significant amount of

space in the primary optical area of the

route of the eye.

Around ¾’s down the magazine cover

will be the title of the film so for us it

will be “Here’s to us’ and above in a

smaller, less bold font than that of the

title will be “Can they find a way

back…” Below the film title will be

“How we took over Hollywood”.

Text on the left third will be a plus

section which will discuss other

elements within the magazine.

Beneath the film title in the terminal

area there will be more text about

other upcoming romance films such as “If I stay”.

I plan to use the male and female main

actors as the main image on the front

cover. It will either be them sat on a

park bench making them appear

intimate and shot from the back using

a close-up from the side showing the

main situated above the female looking down into her eyes. The female will have her feet

crunched up onto the bench closely seated next to the male. Another idea would be to have

the couple laid flat on the floor in opposite directions with their heads beside each other

looking up much like the image on ‘the fault in our stars’ poster.

My use of colours will be bolder and the general use of fonts will be more feminine as it will be serif font to promote the genre. The colours will be red, black and white.
