• Notepad plus plus (or) normal note pad

• A browser any one of these( fire fox , chrome)

• A photo editor(gimp , photo shop)

Note pad plus plus

•This is like a normal note pad but this contains certain features like

• You can select the language you are working on by using this

You can use normal note pad too but the note pad plus plus provides the following facilities

Suggestions will be provided automatically as you type

This is the basic structure of html programming

Here I follow certain way for creating a web

page

Create a new folder in your computer name it

as you wish

Here I name it as html

Inside this folder create three new folders •Css•Java script•Images and songs

Use these folders to store all the contents related toyour htmlWeb page

And now createa new text documentin the main html

folder

Now renamethe text fileas you wishbut withthe extension as .html

If the extension is not visible in your computer do the following

•Click the alt key•Click on the tools menu• Click on the folder

options

Uncheck the check box if checked and click apply and then click on

the ok button

Now lets see how to edit the html file

This will change the icon of the textfile as above or that Of the default browserof your computer

Open the note pad plus plus as mentionedabove And select the language preference as HTML

After typing this code save that in the html folder and run it

The output will be like this

Only the heading will vary as mentioned above in that program

Let`s try to insert something into the web page See how in the next slide
