Basic informaion tools

o They are most found on the home tab of the ribbon.

o There are 2 groups of text formatting tools on the ribon: the font and the paragraph group. they allow you to fine-tune the text on your slides.

Font

O Are sets of characters, numbers, and symbols in a specific styles or design.

O You can change the font and font size at any time on your slides.

Font O Text on a power point slide can be

boldfaced or italicized(called font styles), underlined,, or formatted with other attributes such as strikethrough or shadow(called effects).

O Besides the standard font styles-bold, italic, and underline-PowerPonit provides variety of special effects such as strikethrough and small caps.

OWith this you can change the size ,color and the type of the letter also you can put it in bold, underline ,italic ,with shadow or strikethrough. You can decide if putting spacing or change the case

Font OFor doing it quickly you can click at increase font size ,decrease font size or clear al formatting to put it back into normality.

Resizing a text boxO Text boxes can be resized to make

room for the addition of others text boxes or objects

Applying fill and border to a text box

O You can apply or you can use the shape fill and shape outline tools to set formatting for a text a text on your own.

O Also you can put special fills and pattern fills.
