Objective

Develop a web site that shows the attitude of Barsuk’s original Seattle music scene. Large, high resolution images of the artists, live shows, and tours will be a primary focus on the new website to create an excitement around the music.

Barsuk Records is looking to refresh their appearance on the web. They hope to bring excitement to their fan base through an engaging web design.

Barsuk Records was established in 1994 as an independent record label based out of Seattle, Washington. The label was originally created by Christopher Possanza and Josh Rosenfeld to release their own band’s materials. The label was named af-ter their black Labrador dog which is also featured in their logo. Barsuk is now featuring major indie artists such as Death Cab for Cutie, Rocky Votolato, Rilo Kiley, and Ben Gibbard.
