The Sapphire is a complete mattress replacement system that sets a new standard for pressure relief sur-

faces in bariatric rehabilitation.

The Sapphire features high strength air cushions, which are vented to provide True Low-Air –Loss therapy.

This therapy helps keep the patient dry and comfortable whether in alternation or static modes of operation.

The air cells rest on a 2” covered foam safety pad for added patient protection during power outage or pa-

tient transfer. The foam base is covered with a waterproof material to eliminate cross contamination of bodily

fluids.

The Sapphire comes with a quilted top cover, which is waterproof, vapour permeable and completely ma-

chine washable (poly urethane coated nylon). The system includes an exceptionally quiet control unit. The

unit is user friendly and attaches easily to the footboard of most standard medical bed frames.

Digital technology allows the alternation cycle time, the pressure settings and the mode of operation to be

changed with the touch of a button. Additional features include: "Static" for stationary Low-Air-Loss therapy,

"Fowler" to boost seat inflation when the head is elevated, "Auto Firm" for rapid inflation and easy patient

The Aurum bariatric bed has been designed spe-cifically for size and strength. The width adjust-ment feature allows the bed to be used alongside standard beds during everyday use but can be expanded quickly and simply to accommodate a larger patient. The width adjustment also enables the bed to be transported as a standard sized bed therefore will fit through doors.

GENERAL The Transwave Supreme is a proven pressure reducing system for up to and including High Risk patients. It is fully compatible with ward equipment and can be used on all hospital and commu-nity beds without hindrance to nursing procedures. COVER The polyurethane coated top cover is multi-stretch, waterproof, vapour permeable, with welded seams and sealed to encapsulate the foam inner. Advanced polyurethane coating technology and excellent results in flexibility, stretching, ageing and abrasion tests ensure durability and longevity in use. Biostatic (anti-mycotic) coatings provide an impenetrable barrier to virus and bacteria. Oekotex certified and tested for compliance with ISO 10993 bio compatibility skin irritation, sensitisation and cytoxicity require-ments. FOAM INNER Advanced design using the technical performance of a combina-tion of 40 kg/m³ to 55 kg/m³ high density, high resilience foams.
