Implementation of a new urban management model…
Sustainable Growth: Urban Platform
Unsustainable Growth
• Optimize urban services management and integrationthrough urban platform model development
• Low risk and Technological Trend existingtechnologies + advanced municipal infrastructureavailable (Fiber and Wifi networks - IMI)
• Efficiency: Improve Cost / Service delivery quality +Management Accounting
• Scalable: allow to face connections growth and take
advantage of Internet of things market opportunities
• Minimum integration of urban services
• Dependency of the growing telecom costs againstappropriate and optimized use municipal networkcapacity
• Complexity of management due to diversity oftechnologies, lack of a standard communication protocoland a model for service creation
• Limited services production capacity due to lack ofshared information and high telecommunications rates

The City Protocol integrates the goals and standards, together with the indicators
established by comparing how cities evolve with these standards. Therefore:
• Establishes a system of certification of cities, to measure the efficiency and
quality of cities.
• Evaluate the structural , functional, social and energy elements of cities.
• Define projects and policies that promote progress in the urban environment in
the short, medium and long term.
• Drives the economy of urban innovation, encouraging the definition of
standards, integration platform and the development of urban technologies and
solutions to promote efficiency in resource use, environmental sustainability and
social progress and economic cities.
The City Protocol runs on a base open, decentralized and results-oriented, where the cities,
institutions, companies and international organizations are invited to participate.
