The sizes given on the Thread Requirement page are finished sizes for this design when worked on the corresponding fabric count. We recommend adding an extra 10cms turning allowance on each side for framing purposes.

Sewing instructionsStart by masking off the edges of your fabric. You can do this either with masking tape or a product like Fray Stop which can be applied to the edges of materials to prevent fraying.

Mark the centre of your fabric with a piece of thread to show your starting point. Most people sew from the centre outwards as this ensures your design will be centred on your fabric. The centre point of this chart has been marked with four shaded squares.

This cross stitch design is worked in full and half cross stitch using 2 strands of floss (1 strand for 27ct Evenweave over 1 thread) and 1 strand of floss for all backstitch.

PLEASE NOTE: The thread quantities listed are for working the design on 14 hpi Aida. Less floss will be required if the design is worked on a finer count fabric.

Caring for your NeedleworkIf you need to wash your sewing, always use lukewarm and a mild dishwashing liquid. DO NOT USE ANY CLEANERS DESIGNED FOR OTHER FABRIC USES.

Do not bleach or dry clean your sewing. Dry flat and, if pressing is required, press face down on a towel with a medium iron.If thread colours bleed into you fabric, soak your sewing in lukewarm water and change the water every 2 hours until the stains have gone.

Notice to the PurchaserTHE PURCHASER has not purchased the ownership rights to this cross stitch chart design. THE PURCHASER has purchased a license to use this cross stitch chart design for personal use only. Purchasing a license for any CSC cross stitch chart, via download or e-mail, constitutes an agreement between CSC and the THE PURCHASER of the purchased chart [THE CHART] and, as such, you agree to the following terms of this Purchase Agreement.

The LicenseCSC grants to THE PURCHASER, and THE PURCHASER accepts, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use THE CHART, for THE PURCHASER’s use only.
