Founded in 2008, BarCamp Central Asia offers open and free barcamp-style event along with incubator of ideas, special events & panel discussions, Central Asian market orientation sessions + social added value.

Concept

• Open. BarCamp is an event organized by its participants in web 2.0 spirit. BarCamp initiative group made of volunteers and web-enthusiasts creates a platform, participants create a content. Everybody can change, upgrade, modify, debate, etc.

• Informal. Fully informal spirit leads presentations, brainstorming sessions, master classes, round tables and other activities and stimulates deep involvement of all participants.

• Interactive. No 'tourists' at BarCamp at all. If visiting, stay connected, express yourself and your opinion, commit, share, help, communicate and be involved in what’s going on in the BarCamp!
