What is Bant FMBant FM is a specialist radio station playing

contemporary hit music and other hits from the 90’s onwards. It is located in Hampshire and plays to this area and slightly further. We have frequent updates with our own news and have a breakfast, afternoon and evening show.

Target AudienceOur target audience are male and female aged

between 15-25. At this age music is a big interest and a light hearted radio like ours will go down well with them.

We use competitions and forward promotion to keep our audience members tuned in we will also allow requests from the wide variety of songs in our specific genre.

CompetitionOur main competition are stations like Radio 1 and Capital

FM. They are both very successful Radio stations with many loyal listeners who are the same type of people as our target audience. In order to compete with them both we will have to make our show a lot more inviting to new audience members with things like requests and games.

PlaylistOur genre is contemporary hit music and late

90’s/early 00’s music. We will play a wide variety of music from today and over 20 years earlier. This is ideal for our target audience as majority of them grew up in this time and would remember most of the songs but also would like the music in the charts now.
