Reply:- To be made by the contractor, Vendor can outsource on his own responsibility. Maximum furniture can be made in the factory, as per the Architect’s design. All Furniture Should be manufactured in BEFMA certified factory and all IGBC regulations must be complied. The successful bidder will submit the complete details of the furniture manufacture for approval. The agency will be approved by the bank and Bank’s decision will be final in the matter.

2 Vendor Query:- Only One Brand KICH is Mentioned for Furniture hardware. Please Provide Alternate Brands Also.

Vendor Query:- Request to delete the said clause 2.4.0 on Page 72 of GC States: In case if the Contractor falls to take necessary steps, the PMC/Architect shall be entitled to cause them to be taken and recover cost thereof from the Contractor. Provided that if any steps, taken by the Contractor in meeting his obligations under this clause involves the Employer in additional supervision costs, such costs shall, after due consultation with the Employer and the Contractor, be determined by the PMC/ ARCHITECT and shall be recoverable from the Contractor by the Employer, and shall be Deducted by the PMC/ ARCHITECT from any monies due or to become due to the contractor And The PMC/ARCHITECT shall notify the Contractor accordingly, with a copy to the Employer.

Vendor Query:- Page 75 of GCC Clause d should not be applicable as under the said contract, the contractor shall remain liable for any default during maintenance period and has to attain the rectification. Hence 21 days period and additional undertaking should not be required.

Registration exists for plumbing, electrical an firefighting system. Hence kindly change the condition accordingly.

Reply:- Please consider the services wherever clause applicable as per prevailing market practice i.e. water supply, sanitary, Firefighting, and electric works etc. In case of sub-contract, The successful bidder will submit the complete details of the agency for approval. The agency will be approved by the bank and their decision will be final in the matter.
