Continued Progress Toward Goals
• Data Assessment (Can mandated monitoring be optimized and/or improved to better understand progress toward restoration?)– Drafted a proposal for a retrospective trends
analysis of constituents in Gwynns Falls and Middle Branch (receiving waters) and elucidation of explanatory factors of trends. Collaborative project between Cary Institute (BES), USGS, and BWB

Continued Progress Toward Goals
• Maintain/continue communication (vision that committee serves as venue for technical feedback and exchange)– Planning a workshop for mid-January 2016, place TBD– Main focus will be information exchange between
researchers and broader monitoring community (jurisdictions, practitioners, non-profits)• Morning: updates from research community to broader
community• Afternoon: feedback loop from broader community to
researchers to generate next set of questions/areas of focus• Will include a round-robin opportunity for researchers to meet
with organizations with a particular existing need
