OPERATION PRINCIPLE OF THE INDUCTION HEATER An induction heater is a special transformer with a primary winding with a big number of turns and a secondary short-circuited winding, the role of which is performed by a bearing and a heated metal part with a bore, through which a magnet core passes. Current ratio is inversely proportional to the ratio of the number of winding turns. Thus, large AC current that is flowing in the secondary winding, in bearing rings, causes their even heating up to a required temperature. The primary winding and a transformer core are not heated. After the induction heater switching off bearings can have residual magnetization, which attracts metal particles and causes damage to the bearings. BALTECH HI Series induction heaters automatically demagnetize bearings after heating to a defined temperature. The use of BALTECH HI Series induction heaters excludes smoke, strong smells and oil pollutions, it is harmless for staff health. BALTECH HI Series induction heaters are designed and produced with account of their possible long-term usage, which implies their operation in different area, including industrial one.

A built-in temperature sensor controls a heating process. The electrical plate has an ergonomic cover, that protects the plate against contamination.

The yoke moves along the guides and perfectly fits a bearing bore. The induction heater Baltech HI-1650 has an electronic timer 0-99 minutes. The induction heater maximum power is 10 kW. Automatic overheating protection, automatic demagnetization, state of the art electronics.
The induction heater Baltech HI-1670 is intended to heat large-size bearings up to 560 kg with a minimum inner diameter 60 mm and a maximum outer diameter 1020 mm.
