Where does the student fit into this?


Where should the student fit into this? In order to figure that out, we need to understand what training means to students.

If all children enjoyed equal access to education, per capita income would increase by

23% over 40 years (UNESCO, 2013)


In Australia: Higher level skills acquired through VET give the best economic returns for students throughout their working lives, especially for mature aged students. (Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency, 2012)

Where should the student fit?

•  Priority Number 1 – It’s as simple as that .

•  Do not underestimate the importance of your role, what you do shapes the future for someone else.


Fluff ? •  Yes that’s great but we still have to run a business,

so.. how do we get the balance? •  There is no right or wrong answer, but I do believe

the answer lies in technology


but not just that!

•  Right intentions & vision •  Right trainers & people •  Right course structure & delivery plan •  Right content & strong assessment •  Right process & operational structure •  Right technology & tools
