How to download the BAI Export
The BAI Export is available from the Download Data Export screen in Commercial Banking Online.
Select the Export Type BAI and set the required date and account parameters for your export.
Further guidance is available from the Commercial Banking Online Support Centre
Using the BAI Export
We recommend you use the BAI Export if you need to use transaction and balance data to complete reconciliations and other finance processes and currently use a LloydsLink Online BAI Download file to do this.
If you need to view advices, create reports to view within Commercial Banking Online or export reports in a similar format to a traditional bank statement you should use the Reports section in Commercial Banking Online.

BAI Export File Structure
The formatting and content of each record in the BAI Export File will be different in Commercial Banking Online. The records included and numeric codes identifying these records will remain the same as in LloydsLink Online.
BAI Record Structure:The BAI file is made of a series of records. Each entry within a record is separated by a comma (‘,’) and the end of each record is indicated by a forward slash (‘/’).
Important Information
There are two formats for the BAI Export in LloydsLink Online. These are:• BAI Format and
• BAI Format (multi-line).
In Commercial Banking Online there is only one format (multi-line). This means a new line is started in the file after every forward slash.
The table below shows the numeric code and definition for each record. Mandatory records will be included for every statement section. Optional records will appear based on the transactions included on the statement.
Record Code Record Name Mandatory (M) / Optional (O)
01 File header M
02 Group header M

16 Account transaction detail O (mandatory for all transactions)
