Places of interest

Mount KinabaluMount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia. It stands over 4,000 metres tall. This mountain is also a World Heritage Site. The dense jungles contain species of flora and fauna that are protected. It is a perfect spot for mountain climbing, sightseeing and camping.

The Upside – Down House

Turn your world upside down when you visit this unique house in Tamparuli - The house itself is hard to miss, having been flipped

upside down, with its floor facing skyward. Everything inside the house, from furniture to household appliances, hover above your head, as the ceiling is actually the floor. Visitors will notice some distinguishing Sabahan décor and features showcased in this house.

Sipadan Island

This is a beautiful island which is a perfect gateaway. Tourists can look at turtles and coral reefs when snorkelling, swimming or diving. There are 3,000 species of fish among the colourful coral species.
