• Universities and university campushas a significant role in increasingEuropean competitiveness.Simultaneously we are facingdemographic changes globally anduniversities are redefining their rolein continuous learning.
• The question is what kind ofcampus platforms we provide associal, physical and digital entities inorder to face these challenges.
• University Properties of Finland has been acting locally and internationally during its first years. Campus seminar is dedicated for sharing experiences with our international partners about campus development. The seminar is for all campus developers in Finland and abroad.

The ideas of Activity based office have spread even to the academic world, although research shows that they are not suitable to work that requires concentration. Emloyees' opinions have not been asked when planning the changes.
Open spaces have come or are coming to universities, wanted or not. They are basically like large open offices with meeting rooms, small spaces for them who require concentration and e.g. telephone booths for those in need of them. “ Akatiimi 5/2019
