In over 1,300 SAP Analyses Performed By West Trax: -

Up to 45% of all programs in SAP Systems were Custom Code.

Over 40% of all Custom Code programs were unused.

More than 70% of the SAP Standard functionality already available in the systems was not in use.

Over 30% of currently used Custom Code could be replaced by SAP Standard Applications already available in the systems – with no additional SAP licence and maintenance fees.

Real World Facts

The West Trax “Back to Standard” solution enables clients to maximise the use of the Standard functionality that already exists in their systems.

The aim is to determine which custom code and / or legacy systems could be replaced by Standard functionality they already have.

The “Back To Standard” Package is recommended for all SAP Systems, especially when planning to harmonise or optimise systems.

“Back To Standard” is a “Must Have” follow up to a Technical Upgrade in order to fully exploit the additional functionality in the new release.

The solution is applicable regardless of system size or the number of modules.

The West Trax KPI Scan methodology provides clients with a comprehensive overview of restandardisation and optimisation opportunities in their SAP system.

The results will provide factual information and benchmark comparisons with industry peers and the wider community. Actions will be identified that will reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Existing or potential discrepancies between available and used functionality become evident and can be addressed.

The results of the analysis will enable management to make correct decisions based on real facts resulting in optimum system effectiveness and efficiency.
