All About Me My background
I grew up in Belleville, KS I attended Kansas State University In May 2009 I earned my master’s degree in education
from Baker University I have been married four years. We have a 10 month old
daughter.
My experience This is my fifth year at Rising Star I have taught first grade each year here
My Goals To give your child the academic and
social skills they need to progress to second grade.
To provide a supportive and safe classroom environment.

Tardiness School starts at 8:10. If you aren’t in the classroom by the
time the bell rings, you will be sent back to the office to check in.
We start our day immediately so please try to be at school on time!

Homework Homework is sent home on Mondays for the week
and is due back that Friday. Complete spelling pretest by Thursday For every 10 minutes of reading color in a star (silent
or aloud). Parents please initial each star to show your child did the reading.
Have all parts of homework stapled or paper-clipped together when handed in.
Homework will start the week of Sept. 13th.
Makeup Work 2 days for every 1 day they are absent
